1. Our Commitment to Children's Privacy

At TaskBuck, we take the privacy of children very seriously. This Children's Privacy Policy explains our information collection, disclosure, and parental consent practices with respect to information provided by children under the age of 13 ("child" or "children").

2. Parental Control and Consent

We implement the following measures to ensure children's privacy:

  • No Independent Accounts: Children cannot create accounts on their own. All child accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Parental Oversight: Parents have full control over their child's account and can manage all aspects of their child's experience.
  • No Contact Information: We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or other contact information from children.

3. Information We Collect From Children

For child accounts, we collect only the following minimal information:

  • Family ID: A unique identifier to connect the child's account to their family group.
  • Child's First Name: The name given by the parent for identification within the app.
  • Age: To provide age-appropriate content and features.

We do not collect, store, or process any location data from children's accounts.

4. How We Use Children's Information

The limited information we collect is used to:

  • Create and maintain the child's account within the family group
  • Provide a personalized experience within the app
  • Ensure age-appropriate content and features
  • Enable parental control and management features

5. Parental Rights and Controls

Parents have the following rights regarding their child's information:

  • Full Account Control: Parents can create, modify, and delete their child's account at any time.
  • Data Access: Parents can review the information we have collected about their child.
  • Data Deletion: Parents can request deletion of their child's information at any time.
  • PIN Management: Parents can set and change the PIN for their child's account.
  • Data Export: Parents can download a copy of their child's data from within the app.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect children's information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
